Black tea should always be made with fresh soft water, as hard water impairs the flavor. Filtered water is of course, highly recommended.

 

     In general a few minutes of boiling will be enough to decalcify the water. Ideal temperature is 200 to 212 degrees F.

 

     Place required amount of tea in the brewing pot. Pour sufficient amount of boiled water in the pot.

 

Clock      A timer should be set for the correct brewing time. Ideal time is 3 to 5 minutes. Taste tea after minimum recommended steeping time.

 

 

Sugar, honey, milk, cream, or lemon can be added according to individual taste.
