How to brew black tea
Black tea should always be made with fresh soft water, as hard water impairs the flavor. Filtered water is of course, highly recommended.
Â
In general a few minutes of boiling will be enough to decalcify the water. Ideal temperature is 200 to 212 degrees F.
Â
Place required amount of tea in the brewing pot. Pour sufficient amount of boiled water in the pot.
Â
A timer should be set for the correct brewing time. Ideal time is 3 to 5 minutes. Taste tea after minimum recommended steeping time.
Â
Â
Sugar, honey, milk, cream, or lemon can be added according to individual taste.
